Underrepresented in Medicine Travel Award

The Underrepresented in Medicine Travel Award provides travel reimbursement and complimentary registration to individuals underrepresented in medicine in the United States. Per the Association of American Medical Colleges, these individuals will be from "...racial and ethnic populations that are underrepresented in the medical profession relative to their numbers in the general population." AMP will consider applications from individuals working in the field of molecular medicine who identify as African Americans and/or Black, Hispanic/Latino, Native American (American Indians, Alaska Natives, and Native Hawaiians), Pacific Islander, and mainland Puerto Rican. Students, Residents, Fellows, Technologists, and practicing pathologists and laboratorians are eligible to apply for this award.

US Based Trainee Travel Awards
Deadline: August 30, 2022
The AMP Trainee Travel Award provides up to three (3) selected AMP member trainees, who live and work in the U.S., complimentary registration and up to $1,500 travel reimbursement assistance to the Annual Meeting & Expo.
Preference is given to trainees with a submitted abstract and to those without institutional support for meeting registration.
