Kenneth Aldape

Dr. Aldape is a molecular neuropathologist with a focus on the molecular basis and classification of brain tumors. From a broader perspective, he is interested in the use of new technologies (genomic, computational) that contribute to precision diagnostics of cancer. He has a specific interest in the use of epigenetic signatures to for cancer diagnosis and classification, and as a means to identify biologically based tumor types and tumor subtypes. A major goal is the development of more precise cancer diagnostic modalities that can contribute to precision medicine approaches and ultimately improved patient outcomes.
