Waqas Mahmud, MD, is a Pathology/Clinical Informatics Fellow at Stony Brook University Hospital, Stony Brook, NY. He is also a graduate student in Biomedical Informatics at Stony Brook University. Previously, he completed Molecular Genetic Pathology Fellowship at Hospital of the Unviersity of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia and AP/CP Residency at Rush University Medical Center, Chicago. He is interested in applying knowlege from clinical and biomedical informatics to augment the practice of molecular diagnostics.
