Note: All applications in violation of AMP Ancillary & Satellite Event guidelines will be denied.

The Ancillary & Satellite Event requests will be approved on a first come first serve basis. 

Please read below for information on space requests for Ancillary and Satellite events. Four types of meeting spaces are available: General, Exhibit Hall, Reception, and Educational Events. Details about each type of meeting space including fees and deadlines are outlined below. Meeting spaces are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.

AMP Ancillary Guidelines
  • One form per event must be submitted.
  • Exhibitors may host multiple events at one time, which will run concurrent with other hosted events. We do not offer exclusive times to host events.
  • Space will be on a first come first served basis. (This does not apply to those submitting applications for offsite venues, such as restaurants and non-official AMP venues and hotels).
  • Please notify AMP immediately of any cancellations or changes to your event.
  • Event space is available for various durations. See event types for duration information.

Breach of guidelines may result in the following:

  • Restricted from participating as an exhibitor at future AMP events.
  • Cancellation of ancillary or satellite event.
  • Exhibiting companies may be penalized by a loss in priority points.

Prohibited Events
  • Competing Educational Events, which include providing molecular diagnostics topics and/or content that compete with the scientific program of the AMP Annual Meeting & Expo,
  • Commercial Event (similar to corporate workshop/innovation spotlight).

Cancellation Policy
Please notify AMP immediately of any cancellations, including those of non-official AMP venues and hotels.

Events cancelled prior to October 5th will be subject to a 50% refund. All other cancellations will forfeit any fees paid to AMP associated with the event.

Marketing Opportunities
If you are interested promoting your event through official AMP program materials, please contact for more information on qualifying events and pricing.

Application Process
All organizations, exhibitors, corporate supporters or attendees that wish to hold functions of any size or nature in any of the designated AMP 2022 hotels, or location (including restaurants, other non-hotel venues, or a non-official AMP Hotel during AMP 2022, should complete an ancillary & satellite event request form). 

Applications must be submitted for events being held on November 1st - 6th

All approvals will be provided via email and will include a confirmation that will include the meeting room number and venue contact info, as well as contacts for food and beverage and A/V needs.
Note: Space assignments will not be available until the Annual Meeting & Expo programming is finalized. Notifications of space assignments, if applicable, will be sent no later than September 30, 2022.

Fees & Payments

Invoices will be sent via email to all event hosts and must be paid in full to confirm the event space. Payment methods include payment by credit card, check or wire transfer.

Ancillary & Satellite Event Space
Please read below for information on the preliminary space requests for Ancillary and Satellite events offerings. Four types of meeting spaces are available: General, Exhibit Hall, Reception, and Educational Events. We are currently revamping our ancillary and event space offerings and will provide additional details in early Spring.

General Meeting Space
Internal sales meeting, staff meeting, hospitality room, committee or working group, customer demo(s), etc... max of five registered meeting attendees. May not include more than five registered meeting attendees. For more than five registered meeting attendees, refer to "Reception Space" details, below.
Please note: blackout times do not apply to general meeting space request.

 Meeting Space on the Expo Hall

A limited number of small rooms on the Expo Hall will be available for exhibitors to have individual client meetings. These rooms will be available to rent in duration of show, or in one day increments. Each room will be set with a table and six (6) chairs. Additional features, such as audio visual/internet and keyed access are available at the expense of the exhibiting company.

Food & Beverage is permitted by approval of AMP Show Management only, and may include a cleaning fee where applicable.

Note: These are available for purchase in the Expo Harvester on a first come, first serve basis. Blackout times for Meeting space in the exhibit Hall request do not apply.

Offsite Events
For non-hotel venues, there will be no fees from AMP Show Management and you may contact the venue directly – however, you must first receive approval from AMP Show Management and adhere to guidelines regarding AMP branding restrictions.
