COVID Affirmation & Registration Policies

In addition to the normal policies associated with the Annual Meeting & Expo, we are also requiring each registrant to complete a COVID Affirmation when they check-in for their badge.

The Affirmation stated below will be required prior to your badge being printed onsite:

Affirmation Regarding COVID: The safety of our participants is our number one concern; therefore, in addition to the Waiver and Commitment included as part of your registration, registrants must affirm the statements below to gain admittance to the AMP 2022 Annual Meeting & Expo. If you cannot affirm ALL statements, please see AMP Staff at the Registration Desk.
• I have received a negative result of a COVID-19 test within the previous two (2) days.
***An at home antigen test is acceptable.***
• I will comply with medical best practices and/or the recommendations of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention regarding travel, quarantine, and mask-wearing.
• If I experience any symptoms of COVID-19 I will test and will not enter the AMP 2022 Annual Meeting & Expo until I receive a negative COVID-19 test.
***An at home antigen test is acceptable.***

Not an AMP Member or need to renew? AMP Members pay the lowest registration rates in every registration category. Join now or renew your membership and save on your registration! Registration to the AMP 2022 Annual Meeting & Expo includes:

  • Access to all Scientific Sessions including daily Plenary sessions
  • FREE CE/CEU/CME Credits (NEW!)
  • Coffee breaks and lunch on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday
  • The Welcome Reception on Thursday, November 3rd (Please indicate if you plan to attend when you register for the meeting)

One-Day Passes

Single day passes to the meeting are available for purchase on-site at the registration desk.  The cost of a one-day pass is $395.

Local Technologist Expo Hall Pass

Discounted single-day passes to visit the Expo Hall are available at a discounted rate for Technologists working in Phoenix. These passes are available for purchase on-site at the registration desk. The cost of these passes is $59. You must bring a signed letter from your supervisor regarding your position as a technologist in order to claim this special rate.

* A "Technologist" is an individual involved in the clinical practice and/or research aspects of molecular diagnostics whose primary duties involve bench work, developing and/or performing tests.
**A "Trainee" is a student, resident or fellow. AMP Membership is free for Trainees (join here.) A letter from the Program Director is required for Trainees who are not AMP Associate members and must be submitted at the time of registration.
***After 10/25/22, please plan to register on-site at the Phoenix Convention Center at the Online Pre-Registration Rates.

For those attending the Annual Meeting in-person, consider adding the “ON DEMAND ADD-ON” for $99. This will give you access to all the recorded sessions, so that you can rewatch talks or get the content from the sessions you may have missed. Recordings will be available in January 2023 for 3 years!

Can’t make it to Phoenix for the Annual Meeting? You can still get the content by pre-purchasing the session recordings (On-Demand Only). This offer is new this year and will give you the peace of mind knowing that you’ll still be up-to-date on the latest molecular pathology technologies! The recordings will be posted starting in January 2023 and include access for 3 years as well as CME credits!


We accept the following payment types: credit card, check and wire transfer. The Online Registration System allows credit card payments only. If you would like to pay by check or wire transfer, you must complete and submit the PDF Registration Form. An invoice will be created and a receipt will be sent to you for your records. Note: registration is not confirmed until full payment has been received.

Cancellations: Cancellations received by written notification to through October 1 will receive a refund (less a $100 processing fee). No refunds after October 1.

Social Media Policy: We encourage the use of social media for professional networking purposes before, during, and after AMP 2022. Attendees are also invited to share insights from presentations provided that they are respectful of the presenter’s wishes: if slides or posters indicate that photos are not permitted, attendees must refrain from taking pictures and sharing on social media. To ensure that everyone has a positive social media experience, please adhere to these guidelines:

  • Use the #AMPath22 and #AMPlifier hashtags to join the conversation and get the latest annual meeting updates 
  • Post about what you discover at the meeting

COVID Waiver and Commitment: Registration and attendance at or participation in the AMP 2022 Annual Meeting & Expo, you agree to the COVID-19 Waiver and Commitment:

  • I understand that attendance at indoor conferences like the AMP Annual Meeting may involve a risk of exposure to COVID-19, and I knowingly assume that risk.
  • On behalf of myself as well as my family and heirs, I hereby release from liability, and waive all claims against, AMP, its officers, directors, and employees for any harm, injury, and damage of any nature suffered by me should I contract COVID-19.
  • I will comply with all applicable health and safety laws and directives, as well as any guidelines of AMP and the meeting venues (convention center, hotels, etc), including with respect to face coverings and physical distancing.
  • I will not attend the AMP Annual Meeting, if, within 10 days of the start of the Annual Meeting, I have exposure to anyone with COVID-19 or I experience any symptoms of COVID-19, including fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath, fatigue, body aches, headache, loss of taste or smell, sore throat, runny nose, nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea.

Lost/Replacement Name Badges: If you lose your Name badge, you can have a replacement badge printed for $20. Please visit the Registration Desk at the Convention Center for assistance.

If you have a disability that will impact your participation in the meeting, please notify us during the registration process or contact us via email at Notify us as early as possible so we can ensure the availability of appropriate accommodations.

Target Audience

The target audience for the AMP 2022 Annual Meeting & Expo is clinical practitioners/physicians, research scientists, medical education professionals, laboratory managers and supervisors, clinical laboratory scientists/medical technologists, students and postdoctoral fellows/residents with an interest in diagnostic, prognostic, and therapeutic approaches in molecular pathology.

Welcome Reception
The Welcome Reception (Thursday, November 3rd) is open to all registered Meeting Attendees at no cost. Guest Tickets will be available for $49/each. The Welcome Reception will be inside the Exhibit Hall.
